We had a truly delightful stay at this charming cottage near Oxford and cannot recommend it highly enough.
The host was exceptionally kind and attentive, welcoming us with a thoughtful box of treats and lovely extras that made us feel immediately at home. That level of care really set this stay apart.
The cottage, while modest in size, is extremely comfortable and very well designed. We stayed as two families with three children and the space worked perfectly. The kitchen is spacious, well equipped, and a real highlight — we used it often and even cooked our Christmas meal there with ease. An extra frying pan would be a nice addition, but overall everything one could need was provided.
The bathrooms were spotless, spacious, and easy to manage. Although there is only one toilet, this never posed an issue thanks to the excellent layout. The shower was particularly comfortable, with plenty of hot water.
The bedrooms were generous and very comfortable, and the cottage itself is beautifully maintained, full of character, and wonderfully picturesque. The traditional wood, cosy interiors, and overall atmosphere truly make you feel immersed in the English countryside.
A charming home, a wonderful host, and a genuinely memorable stay.
The very well equipped kitchen could benefit from an extra pan and some more cutlery.

Well appointed characterful cosy cottage. Set back from the road with parking for one car. Everything you need in the kitchen. Drinks left in the fridge were a nice touch as were the xmas decorations. Comfortable beds. Lovely balcony overlooking the garden. Pub nearby and a short drive to Blenheim and Oxford city centre.
The steps down to the cottage may be an issue for someone with mobility issues.
