Please Note: In responding to Cdc guidelines and in exercising an abundance of caution due to Covid-19, the community manager has chosen to close the outdoor swimming pool and rec building until further notice. Because this is a circumstance that is beyond our control, no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the free-use facilities remain closed during the time of our Guest’s stay.
This standard 2-story, 2-bedroom townhouse style condo is a great place! The 1st floor features one bedroom with 1-full sized bed, 1/2 bath, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open living/dining area, plus a small balcony overlooking the common area. The 2nd floor features a loft master bedroom with 1-queen bed, 1-full bath, and a laundry cubby with a stack washer/dryer. This vacation property will sleep up to 4-persons. (enforced Maximum Occupancy!).
Snowater is positioned on 20 acres of magnificent forest on the banks of the Nooksack River which runs on 3 sides of the property. At an elevation of 1000 feet, Snowater is accessible year round. Amenities include two full recreational buildings with two heated swimming pools, hot tubs, a sauna, four tennis courts, basketball, squash/racquetball courts and an adult fitness center. There is a lounge area with free wifi, a pool table, ping pong table and a separate toddler play room. The grounds have bbq/picnic areas as well as a children’s play structure and trails along the river. Snowater is located at the edge of the Snoqualmie National Forest, close to the Mt. Baker Ski Area and spectacular old growth forests, an area rich in history and outdoor opportunities.

The place was newly renovated so it was nice and new. Everything was very clean and is as described online and from the photos. The location of the condo was right at the edge of the mountains so it was a close drive to the hiking trails. Be weary that there is no internet or cell phone service. This was included in the description of the condo rental company and they said "some" areas may not have reception, surely enough this location did not have any reception. It was a good thing we were with good company so it wasn't unbearable and was actually nice to unplug for the weekend, but make sure you come prepared with activities, games, DVDs, etc. The closest stores/gas stations were about 10-15 mins away so pack emergency essentials as needed, just in case. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future!
