Mt. Baker Rim Cabin #77 - The Mountain View Delight
Your family will enjoy capturing sunrises and sunsets at the Mountain View Delight! This 3-story, 3-bedroom cabin with 3 full baths offers some of our area's best territorial views! Upon entering the ground-level property, you’ll discover a covered outdoor area with a hot tub and a gas grill. Once inside, you’ll discover a game/bonus room with a kitchenette, a foosball table, assorted board games, books, and puzzles, and 1-full bath. Ascending the staircase to the second (main) floor reveals an open concept kitchen, dining, and great room area with hardwood floors and a covered front balcony with a southerly exposure on which to relax and unwind while enjoying your favorite beverage and taking in the majestic views! The great room area features a comfy couch and love seat, a gas fireplace for cozying up to, and a flat-screen monitor for entertainment. The dining area features a table and seating for four. The fully equipped kitchen features a full-size refrigerator/freezer, range/oven, dishwasher, and a built-in microwave oven. A side door leads to a large deck with built-in seating, perfect for relaxation…morning, noon, and night. There’s also one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, 1-full bath off of the hallway, a master bedroom with 1-king sized bed, plenty of closet space, and 1-full bath ensuite. Ascending the staircase to the top floor reveals a large open loft bedroom with 1-king sized bed and a window for, well…taking in those magnificent mountain views! Don’t forget Fido, this pet-friendly, Wi-Fi*, hot tub, and electric vehicle charger equipped and monitored family vacation property will comfortably sleep up to 6 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). Please note that the garage is inaccessible to Guests, and outside parking is limited to two vehicles.

**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. The service is currently subject to failure. Intermittent service failures are circumstances that are beyond our control. No refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.
**This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Great property for a ski weekend at Mt Baker. We came in from Seattle and the drive was easy. Key pickup was on the way, straightforward, and paper directions (as well as GPS) got us to the gate where needed to be. Great property, the basement is a bathroom, foosball table, and a second older kitchen - we just put bags/shoes/skis down there. Main space was enjoyable, great for relaxing, with comfortable beds and usable kitchen unlike a lot of rentals. I'd say only downside was noise, as we didnt realize when booking the backyard is the highway and both nights it was pretty busy with traffic and trucks, not sure why. Also the neighbors also had two off-leash loud dogs who barked constantly at us whenever we walked out the door, out on the deck, or were in the hot tub. Noise removed us a bit from the "cabin in the woods, away from the city" type trip we aimed for - but overall, excellent space, good instructions, straightforward check out rules, and would go to the neighborhood again, just likely further from the highway.

Cabin was satisfactory once the bugs were worked out. No hot water. The hot water had been shut off by a plumber who did some previous work. The management company handled the situation very well. There is no air conditioner in this unit! This fact is not disclosed in the cabin description, but an important fact to know when it is 88° outside. Again, the management company stepped in and provided box fans. The cabinet itself had no fans, including ceiling fans, so there was absolutely no circulation in the air. Potential renters need to keep this in mind.
