Haus Frei Wald is a bungalow built in Norwegian log cabin style and can accommodate 2-6 people. (Max 4 adults and 2 children) The location is a little 18 km from Winterberg with its ski areas and a little 10km from the ski resort in Zueschen. Unique to Haus Frei Wald is the cross-country ski run which is immediately accessible from the path in the backyard. A wonderful place so for the real skiing enthusiasts.
The wood throughout the house gives a warm and cozy feel. The open kitchen with adjoining a spacious cozy sitting area extends into a cozy living room. In which room you will also spend the lazy afternoon, you will always be together. The kitchen is equipped with all comforts such as fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave and other household appliances.
The bedrooms are separate rooms that are accessible from the spacious hall. In the first bedroom is a bunk bed of 2x 80cm by 190cm. In this bedroom there is also a desk with chair. In addition, you will also find a closet with enough storage space. In the second bedroom you will find 2 single beds of 80 cm by 200cm. In this bedroom there is also a desk with chair. In addition, you will also find a closet with enough storage space. In the third bedroom you will find a double bed with two mattresses of 100cm by 200cm. In this bedroom you can lose your belongings in the large closets.
The bathroom has a spacious shower, washbasin with mirror and a toilet. This bathroom guarantees optimum use during the morning and / or evening rituals. Pay attention! Towels and bed linen are excluded. You should bring this yourself.
At Haus Frei Wald you can use our fireplace (excluding wood). Since December 2016, there is a wood burning stove in the fireplace that creates more heat throughout the stay. For winter sports there is a separate barn where you can store your ski / snowboard items so that they are not in the way of the cottage during your stay.

The completely detached house is on a plot of approximately 1000m2 including spacious terrace with beautiful views of the Sauerland hills. The cottage is located in a 'Feriendorf', in this Feriendorf there are several cottages that are rented and / or inhabited during the year. The Feriendorf is on the edge of the forest, where you always have something to do during the seasons. Further down there is a beautiful lake where you can beautifully fish (as long as it is not frozen in winter). With ski resorts up to 18 km away which is not 20 minutes drive, this is the place for the winter sports enthusiast. Within a 1.5km drive you will find a supermarket, bakery and various shops for daily necessities. A mere 3 km away you will find a bigger supermarket and village (Hallenberg).
Haus Frei Wald is not accessible by public transport. If you make a reservation, you will of course receive detailed directions from us.
Also for the little ones, everything is present, thinking of: Box, high chair, camping cot (s), plastic dishes. If you have questions about this, please feel free to help. Pets are in consultation at all times. Pay attention! Dogs charge an additional fee of € 5, per night per 1 dog or 1 cat. This may be paid in cash during the stay.

Het huis was netjes en schoon, alles is zoals beschreven. Mooie vernieuwde badkamer en keuken. Het staat op een rustige locatie omgeven van prachtige natuur. Heerlijk om te wandelen, direct vanuit de tuin de berg op of af.
