Stay in a centuries-old home, which will take you back in time, having the impression of living in a past made of handmaids and jesters, tournaments and investitures, ladies and knights.
Discover the amazement of large spaces within a fortified medieval village. Let yourself be conquered by the magic of a garden of aromatic plants. Walks in the enchanting vast orchard, from which the gaze widens over the valley, dominated by the imposing walls of a Lombard castle of the century. XI.
Through a very respectful restoration of the importance of the place on the one hand, sensitive to the needs of maximum comfort on the other, the house is a successful example of innovation in tradition. Antique furniture and fine finishes are found in warm rooms equipped with brand new plant engineering. The apartment consists of a lounge, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Sensitive to the rights of the disabled, we have equipped the largest bathroom with a floor shower, w. c. with built-in bidet (in addition to another bidet) and sink without column as well as handles and handrails.
You will have at your disposal a suggestive kitchen, obtained in part from the large chimney hood, but with maximum usability and equipped with oven, fridge and dishwasher. The availability of the washing machine completes the equipment of the apartment for a stay with every comfort.
The lounge retains its ancient charm intact: large, evocative, with a large central fireplace, which will allow you to spend slow life evenings, lulled by the chime of the clock.

This was our second time staying with Monica and this location is great and extremely roomy and very clean. Thank you for the beautiful cake and sharing your garden with us again. If in region this is a must stay and close to many great little towns.

This home was stepping back in time in the medieval town of Vicalvi. The home was 300 years old and lovingly restored and filled with antiques. Very quiet streets within the medieval walls. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and dining. A wonderful treat was Monica's delicious cake waiting for us. They also had some starter foods and drinks for us. Domenico greeted us at our arrival and showed us the house and his fabulous herb garden. This was our base for trips to Rome, Pompeii, Gaeta and Monte Cassino Abbey. We would definitely return to this charming home

Vicalvi is a very small hill town at the foot of the ruins of a 12th century castle in the Val di Comino. The buildings are very old so it was a great surprise to see just how comfortable and modern the inside of Il Falconiere was. The views of the valley from the tiny church piazza are truly lovely. The street outside the property is cobbled and very steep, be prepared for exercise!
