About this villa rental
Welcome to Due Pini - the luxury hideaway in the heart of Italy. Nestled within an ancient olive grove and perched on top of the Aurunci mountains, Due Pini commands stunning sea views that spread out before you like an azure blanket. The house, an understated gem of modern architecture designed by Cherubino Gambardella, boasts concrete, marble and wood throughout stimulating the senses into a state of sumptuous relaxation – perfect for a family and friends getaway.
The bedrooms:
The house has two large bedrooms, which can sleep four adults, as well as two smaller bedrooms, which can comfortably sleep up to four children.
The master bedroom is upstairs and has two large balconies with wonderful views of the sea, and an en-suite bathroom. Through the bedroom you reach a kids' bedroom. The guest bedroom is on the ground floor, nearest to the pool. The other room suitable for children, which has a custom-built bunk bed, is also downstairs. The room is fairly small but kids seem to love its den-like qualities. There is also another bathroom downstairs.
The lounge and kitchen area: The lounge and kitchen area is large and open plan. The interiors are very sleek and modern.
The pool and terrace: The house is surrounded by a large terrace, which leads to an infinity pool with a deck, a whirlpool and two outdoor showers. There are sun loungers and also a large sofa which can be used outdoors.
Inner courtyard and gardens: The house has a small inner courtyard with several blossoming lemon trees. It is also surrounded by an olive grove which produces its own olive every year.
Awards and publications: Villa Due Pini won 'Best Residential House' category in the Cersaie Bologna Awards in 2012. It has also featured in numerous architectural reviews including Mark and Domus.

Een ruim vakantiehuis met een speciaal design dat duidelijk de functie heeft bepaald. Overal leuke details, groot terras, gezellig zwembad, een ruime living, goed uitgeruste keuken (met alle basis ingrediënten beschikbaar), prachtig uitzicht, privacy naar de buitenwereld... en ruimte, ruimte overal.
Wel veel verloren ruimtes en het design is niet altijd praktisch geslaagd. De woning is donker door de eigenaardige en onpraktisch luiken die het geheel wat op een bunker doen lijken. Geschikt voor een familie van 5 personen ( ook al zijn er theoretisch 8 bedden). Meer mensen wordt krap qua stoelen en zetels. Daar is het iets te minimalistisch voor uitgerust. Ook de akoestiek is slecht,
Maar wij hebben er zeker een fijne vakantie gehad. De olijfolie van de eigen olijfbomen die je mocht gebruiken was een mooi detail.

Bei unserer spontanen Flucht aus dem verregneten Deutschland, Mitte August 2014, sind wir in der Villa Due Pini gelandet.
Vorgefunden haben wir ein Haus mit einer Architektur die seines gleichen sucht und eine Anlage die einlädt die Seele baumeln zu lassen.
Die exklusive Einrichtung haben wir von der ersten Minute genossen.
Begeistert hat uns die Ausstattung, vor allem der Küche und der Bäder. Angenehm waren die integrierten Fliegengitter in den Fenstern und das kühle Klima im Haus (auch bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur).
Die Aussicht und abends die Lichterkulisse waren beeindruckend.
Itri bietet alles notwendige für die tägliche Verpflegung und auch die Strände sind schnell zu erreichen.
Die 10 Tage in der Villa Due Pini waren unser angenehmster und erholsamster Ferienhaus Urlaub seit langem.
Vielen Dank an Anne-Celine für die freundliche und unkomplizierte Abwicklung und an Francesco der vor Ort sehr zuvorkommend immer dann zur Stelle war, wenn wir ihn gebraucht haben.

Unser Urlaub Ende September in der Villa 2 Pini war wunderschön.
Haus, Terrassen und Pool boten Ruhe und Entspannung. Wir besuchten Gaeta, Sperlonga und die Burg in Itri und freuten uns dann darauf, in der sehr gut ausgestattetten Küche selbst zu kochen und auf der Terrasse mit wunderbarem Ausblick zu speisen.
Das Haus ist innen und außen sehr gepflegt und Francesco als Ansprechpartner war sehr hilfreich und freundlich.
Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.

We booked a week in Due Pini at the end of May and spent a wonderful time with our kids lounging by the pool and on the nearby beaches of Sperlonga and "I 300 Gradini" - a wild beach off the beaten track. The weather was perfect, the Aperol Spritzs too! And don't get me started on the tomatoes! The house was perfect. Beautiful, modern and with all mod cons. There is a big open plan space downstairs, as well as the giant terrace that wraps around the house and pool with gorgeous views of both the Aurunci mountains and the sea.
