Apartment on two levels on the 2nd and 3rd floor pool garden and sea view in a beautiful tropical garden with 3 swimming pools plus a supervised child swimming pool in the summer, a restaurant bar. Near the sea (10 minutes walk) 200 m from the tennis club and golf club Mijaflores and 50 m shops, restaurants and bars. 20 minutes from Malaga airport, 10 minutes from Marbella and Puerto Banus, you are 5 minutes from La Cala De Mijas. In 2. 15 pm you are on the ski slopes of Sierra Nevada. The Costa del Sol is 330 days of sunshine a year nicknamed also the Costa Del Golf with its 45 golf courses

We are a party of six adults who arrived late on Saturday night for our stay in the large penthouse. While we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and pool ,we were disappointed upon arrival; The apartment was advertised as “sleeping 9” and we have struggled to find suitable beds for a party of 6. The living area- advertised as a sleeping area- but very thin curtains and not particularly suited to this. It was also challenging with the toilet/bathroom arrangements that were all on the lower floor and one accessed through the main bedroom ( the room without air-conditioning). The upper floor was accessed from an external spiral staircase. This had two rooms inter joining - one that you were unable to stand up in, without hitting your head .It certainly would not accommodate more adults.
Furthermore, we were not aware of the situation with the locked gates and lack of spare keys( although we were advised that we could ask for a separate key- would have been nice if this was made clear when we eventually found the key safe before travelling to the apartment) Having one key required us to travel together as a unit which is limiting as we are two groups of friends, who sometimes make separate plans for going out.
Another issue from a few days into our stay was the supplied hairdryer broke with a bang and sparks in the bathroom socket, and the kettle with a lack of power switch which is a little strange.
The management however after a few days were able to replace these and answered promptly to our messages.
