The apartment includes the entire first floor of Nonna Carlotta's house (about 100sqm) and is accessed from the private terrace with panoramic views and a wrought iron table with a glass top. Inside a large space with kitchen area, dining area. Next you enter a room with sofa bed and fireplace. From a corridor you reach the two bathrooms (one with a whirlpool bath) and the two bedrooms, one double and the other with two single beds. From the terrace, a staircase leads to the garden and then to the swimming pool.
La Casa di Nonna Carlotta, surrounded by greenery, welcomes you with a large private parking and a large garden, the swimming pool (10 x 4 m; 1.40 m deep), the whirlpool, children's games, the laundry, barbecue, free WI: FI, bed linen and towels.
Nonna Carlotta's house, facing south west and overlooking the valley with an open view of the Ligurian Sea to the Maritime Alps and the west coast, is located at the beginning of the characteristic ancient village of Velva, in a quiet position. You can reach it, exiting the highway in Sestri Levante, going up the Petronio Valley for 15 km with its terraced hills planted with olive trees and Ligurian gardens.
Rustic farmhouse, completely renovated in 2009, on two floors, with over 1000 square meters of garden, large courtyard with parking lots and totally fenced swimming pool area. At 1 km the Sanctuary with an adjoining typical Ligurian trattoria and, a few km, the biological center of the Val di Vara with the medieval village of Varese Ligure, defined by the European Community as "the European rural municipality that has carried out the most complete and original sustainable development ". At 20 min the sea and the beaches of Sestri Levante from where you can reach, in half an hour, the 5 Terre and Portofino by train or ferry.

First of all we were welcomed so nicely - we never experienced anything like this. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and spacious. Absolutely great for a family holiday with two teenagers. Wifi worked great. Nice pool and hot tub. Approximately 30 minutes drive to the coast but therefore very calm.

This villa is in a stunning location. However we feel the advertisement was not entirely accurate. This was not a 3 bedroom property it was a 2 bed property with a pull out bed in the lounge. Secondly there was no air conditioning and not one fan. The heat was unbearable especially at night. Bedding and pillows were minimal with only 4 pillows, as was kitchen utensils. There is a washing machine which was really useful to keep the towels clean etc. The pool, hot tub was lovely however no where in the advert did it state that the pool and hot tub was shared with two other villas on the property. The sun loungers were mostly broken and there was not enough for the number of residents which made it difficult. We loved the properties location but feel hospitality could be improved. There was not even a bottle of water on arrival. We had to go to the supermarket on arrival. We stayed a total of 11 nights and saw the owner possibly 3 times.
