Podere Marchiano is an old farmhouse located on the slopes of Montalbano. It is located 12 km from Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo Da Vinci, 30 km from Lucca, 40 km from Florence, 50km from Pisa, 10 km from Montecatini Terme. The house is nestled in the Tuscan countryside, rich in olive groves. Directly overlooking the Montecatini Golf Club - 18 holes. It is possible to use the "Green fee" in all courses in the center of Tuscany. Far from crowded, noisy city, offers the ideal holiday for those who love nature and outdoor activities (golf, hiking, horseback riding) .The central location in the heart of Tuscany, makes Marchiano not only a perfect base for visiting the most important art cities but also the Versilia coast, the Abetone and Pistoia mountains: all locations within a radius of about 50 km away. Their house has retained their rustic characteristics original. The apartment consists of a kitchen and a double sofa bed. Our guests can take advantage of the spaces equipped with appliances in the house and covered: a large shed (barn), which offers a panoramic view of the impressive environmental context of the Val di Nievole; barbecue, swimming pool and parking surrounded by olive groves.

We didn’t realize we would have our own apartment in this beautiful old villa. What a pleasant surprise and a very special place. The property is lovely and the pool area nestled in the olive groves was just what we needed to relax and shake off our jet lag for a few days. Alessandro was welcoming and very helpful in pointing us toward fun things to do in the area.

I stay in Podere Marchiano for 7 nights in May 2024 , excellent places to relax by the pool. Surrounded by small towns and villages with beautiful architecture and views, locals restaurant and coffee shops are welcoming place to visit, Margaret

This VRBO was excellent. The views from the villa were unbelievable. The location is very quiet and relaxing. It was welcoming from a day of sightseeing. Alessandro the host was very helpful and informative. He gave us tips for dining and sight seeing. The pool was nice. A few recommendations: If looking to stay there try and book the garden level apartment/flat as you can dine al fresco with ease without climbing up/down stairs. Secondly follow Alessandro driving instructions. I do not recommend the route from Pistola (as this is coming down the mountain with hairpin turns and not a lot of room on the road). Overall excellent stay, would definitely stay there again. :)
