Casa Ylenia, part of a small housing complex, with private entrance, is completely renovated and extends over two floors! On the ground floor there is a large kitchen with a fully equipped TV. Also on the ground floor there is a sitting room with TV. From the living room you can access directly into the internal courtyard of the house, furnished with table, chairs and barbecue - suitable place for an outdoor dinner in peace. The house has three large bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom. Casa Ylenia is furnished with taste and love for detail - suitable for a relaxing, quiet and surrounded by greenery. Car parking in front of the property. Also in front of the house we find a small outdoor lounge with sea view, equipped with umbrella, table and chairs - ideal for drinking a good glass of Tuscan wine while enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Casa Ylenia is located in a strategic position - a few kilometers by car we find all the largest cities of art, such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca etc. After a busy day, Casa Ylenia, offers tranquility and retreat.

Chiatri, ToscanaThe location was exactly what I was looking for: set on a hill where the air is cooler than in the nearby coastal towns, and wonderfully quiet. It’s about a 40-minute drive to Lido di Camaiore or Marina di Pietrasanta, and just 25 minutes to Lucca. If you enjoy cycling, this is an excellent base — I explored the area with my road bike and loved it.The house has four rooms, three of which are bedrooms. We spent most of our time in the kitchen and on the front porch, which is especially beautiful in the evenings — perfect for relaxing after a day out. By Swiss standards, the interior was clean and well-kept.There are a few mosquitoes in the evening (around 8–9 PM), but Laura had prepared everything to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. All windows are fitted with mosquito nets, and she also provided natural repellents — we only needed to use them a couple of times.The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the hosts even agreed to my request to turn it off at night, which I appreciated since I prefer to sleep without devices or unnecessary frequencies.The real highlight, though, is experiencing Laura and Federico’s way of life: caring for their home, gardening, raising their children, going to work, and producing excellent red wine and olive oil.Laura speaks Italian, English, and French, and is an excellent local guide, full of useful information about the region.Travel tip: Avoid the free beaches around Viareggio. An ideal place to stay if you want to enjoy the beauty of toscane. Away from the turistic rush, we got to visit cinque terre, pistoia, pisa, firenze and even go to the beach. Laura, the owner, has been more than welcoming. We highly recommend it.

Toller Ausblick, ruhige Lage, zuvorkommende und freundliche Vermieter und eine Vermittlerin mit tollen Tipps. Kommen bestimmt mal wieder. Haben uns einfach wohlgefühlt im Haus.
