The decor was stunning. The breakfast excellent. Lovely bath. Comfortable bed.

Very uneven floors are to be expected in a building of this age. We struggled to get in as the instructions to the key safe said to turn it to the left and an employee passing by explained it has to be turned to the right first.

Location is great. Access super simple with a very informative welcoming text.

Location and the room was a great surprise

This was mine and my partners second visit, we absolutely LOVE the location and the cleanliness!

Again, we have been once before. The room we had last time was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous 4 poster bed and HUGE bathroom!🫶🏻 This time, we booked a double room with bath en-suite. We ended up being given a double room with just a shower (due to a leek in the bathroom of our originally booked room😕) the text we received said “As a previous guest we have provided you with a complimentary upgrade. Kind regards” so we thought, a bottle of wine, something nice for Valentine’s Day? But no, it wasn’t until we entered the room (thinking we’d come into the wrong room) and I called the manager that we were then told, the situation with the bathroom leek (which can’t be helped at all and we understand that completely!) however, the room we ended up staying in, was extremely clean, nicely decorated, however, the bed was so hard and uncomfortable (which led to, unfortunately, not a great nights sleep😭) and the road noise was really bad😬, the window also had a crack in it (unsure if owners know this, but felt we had to mention it). Overall, we were quite disappointed, due to us having an INCREDIBLE first stay and then having the room we ended up staying in on the second stay!☹️ We will absolutely come again, if we don’t have that same room, because we adore this business and it’s incredible location! X
