Despite paying in advance through Agoda when we arrived this pub was shut and locked.

Stayed at the lamb Inn due to having a wedding on the Saturday evening. I'm not local and check in was 1pm - so we wanted to shower and change at the accommodation before the wedding. The accommodation was closed and there were no employees in sight. A young guy who said he didn't work there then opened the door to say we can change in a room that hadn't been cleaned, there were plates with food on lying around and a duvet on the floor outside. We couldn't shower before the wedding or change in private as we didn't even have access to our room. We then returned from the wedding at 10pm and one of our rooms still wasn't ready/hadn't been cleaned! I felt quite bad for the manager but there is no excuse for that - there were also bugs in the beds! The disorganisation and cleanliness was so bad we didn't want breakfast, no one was there to serve anything anyway and we left at 10am, so so bad

My second stay at the Lamb, comfy room and a good strong shower! Friendly staff and always some good banter with the locals. If you need to get food out of hours there are plenty of take aways minutes away on foot, car parking very close too.

Couldn't get in at 1st thought it had been closed down .Rooms not maid up stains on carpet no staff clutter every where ...went to wedding came back gone 10.00 at night still hadn't done our room ...noisy band under our room .breakfast should of been in with price and there wasn't anything done for us what a run down place ...way over priced not worth it was a shame
