About this villa rental
LUXURIOUS VILLA WITH PRIVATE ACCESS TO THE SEA AND THE LAKE
In SPERLONGA, one of the most exclusive and splendid beaches of the Tyrrhenian Sea and Blue Flag for its pristine beaches and waters, this luxurious villa is located in an absolutely unique position between the lake and the sea.
The villa has private and direct access to the lake from which you have access to the sea.
It is immersed in a 1,000 m2 garden. with old trees.
The villa is divided into two levels:
On the ground floor a large patio with stone columns covered by a truss of wooden beams, a living room with fireplace and ceiling also with a truss of wooden beams, dining room and kitchen, a bathroom and a pleasant multi-purpose veranda overlooking on the lake (with a double bed and a sofa bed) with glass walls.
On the first floor there is a characteristic cantilever hallway on the living room, master bedroom and a second bedroom and main bathroom.
There is an additional shower with hot and cold water in the garden.
Autonomous heating.
Internet line with ADSL flat, SKY and TVSAT television networks.
Fully equipped gas stove.
External fans on the patio and in the two bedrooms on the first floor.
Dining table also by the lake.
Outdoor barbecue.
The garden, with a programmable watering system, is very well kept and is embellished with century-old tall trees.
The garden borders the lake and the channel connecting the lake and the sea.
Parking for up to 6 cars.
Total capacity 8 beds.
The villa overlooks 15 km of wide beach: part with numerous bathing establishments and part of the free beach with numerous restaurants by the sea.
GUESTS USE FREE OF CHARGE IN THE NEAR BATHING FACILITY "IL GABBIANO" OF TWO BEACH UMBRELLAS AND FOUR BEACH BEDS.
IN THE PRICE THE ITALIAN BREAKFAST IS ALSO INCLUDED FOR ALL GUESTS: CAPPUCCINO AND BRIOCHES.
With the Sailing Center 100 meters from the villa you can practice all water sports: sailing, surfing, kitesurfing etc.
Water skiing is practiced on the lake.
Supermarket at 200 meters.
A long cycle path runs along the beach passing through the center of Sperlonga and reaches the National Archaeological Museum "The Blinding of Polyphemus" and the archaeological site of the Tiberius Cave.
The villa (included in the price) offers guests no. 4 bicycles.
Tips and activities
Sperlonga is a very popular seaside town, also by people from the culture of politics and entertainment.
Our villa borders the villa of the famous director LUCHINO VISCONTI.
In the historic center of Sperlonga there is the promenade and a typical square like that of Capri.
The narrow alleys are very characteristic.
Generally you eat well everywhere: 100 meters from the villa there are two restaurants / pizzeria with a good quality / price ratio.
A few minutes by car from our villa in the municipality of Fondi there is the largest fruit and vegetable market in Europe: the M. O.F. from which our agro-food excellences leave for all of Europe every day.
The market is open to individual consumers: the best of fruit and vegetables can be found at really low costs.
In the area there are some dairies that produce excellent buffalo mozzarella.
In addition to the Archaeological Museum and the Tiberius Cave (where they recently discovered the remains of a Neanderthal man) we recommend visiting:
- in nearby Formia the tomb of Cicero
- in Fondi the 5 kilometers of the original Via Appia with the epitaph erected in 1548 in honor of the King of Spain Philip II
- in Itri the castle of Fra Diavolo and the Sanctuary of the Civita where an icon of the Madonna dating back to 600 AD is kept. c.
It should also be remembered that from Terracina and Formia many ferries leave daily for the Pontine islands (Ponza, Zanone, Palmarola, Ventotete and S. Stefano where you can visit the ancient Bourbon prison where Sandro Pertini was imprisoned by fascism).

Summary of reviewsSpent a fantastic week in an original and very comfortable house close to the sea. Extremely kind and helpful owners. Beautiful garden for dogs to roam freely, but the highlight is the patio with a large stone table and several sofas to enjoy wonderful evenings. Will definitely try to go back next summer.

Trascorsa una settimana fantastica in una casa originale e comodissima per arrivare al mare.
I proprietari gentilissimi e disponibilissimi.
La casa dotata di un bellissimo giardino dove i cani hanno potuto scorrazzare liberamente,ma la cosa che per me è impagabile di questa casa è il patio dotato di un grande tavolo in pietra e numerosi divani per passare delle meravigliose serate.
Sicuramente la prossima estate farò di tutto per tornarci
