About this house rental

Enchanting Villa is 500m from the beach and from the old town (10 min walk) surrounded by a very big relaxing garden of about 2000 square meters with a great variety of Mediterranean trees and parfums: cypresses, cedars of Lebanon, pines, fruit trees, lavandas and olive trees. You will feel the real Mediterranean atmosphere: white and green interrupted only by the fuchsia of bougainvillea flowers, typical “Style of Capri”. The Villa is on two separate floors and we rent only the apartment on the zero floor overlooking the garden that is about 150 square met. Big living room , a nice and 'fresco' patio by the garden, 2 bedrooms for couples bed overlooking the garden, 2 bedrooms in the back of the house, one with 3 beds and one with 1+1 beds not overlooking the garden , sofa bed for 4 people in the living room, kitchen with dishwasher & laundry machine, microwave, two bathrooms with shower/bath + a hot water shower just outside the house. Maximum Sleep 9+4. Table and chairs in the porch and pergola, two sunbeds, BBQ. Private parking for one car or one big car and one small car provided inside the gate.
The Villa is just inside the National Park of Monte Circeo that is an extraordinarily beautiful, natural site that has been preserved since 1934, containing the Monte Circeo, 20 km of superb sandy beaches, four lakes and a forest in its 8,500 hectares (=18.700 acres). Recognised by UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site”, the park contains 1,237 species of fauna and 250 species of bird, deer and foxes thrive in the forest near Sabaudia. It also contains ruins of Emperor Domitian’s Villa and Lucullo’s Spring,The 1,700 foot Monte Circeo is believed to be the site of Circe and her Sirens, described in Homer’s Iliad: that's why they call it the "Ulysses Riviera". There are three lakes just near Sabaudia. Villa Domiziano dates back to the I Century B.C., lays right on the Paola's Lake, still excavating, extends on an area of over 40 hectares; very interesting is the thermal spa, the enormous water tanks and the bathing area. Part of the Park are the Pontine Islands: Ponza, Palmarola and Zannone. Terracina, Sperlonga and Gaeta
The beach of Sabaudia: This 30 km long stretch of fine sand and Dunes is simply breathtaking. Add to the natural beauty some really world class seafood restaurants on the water's edge in Sabaudia beach, and a sophisticated and full menu of summer concerts and activities. Just one hour from the Island of Ponza and from the Garden of Ninfa and Fossanova Abbey. Enjoy biking or walking to some of the beach's clubs where you can rent your beach umbrellas and lounges from them by the day. After a morning of sunning, swimming, and beach combing, enjoy lunch right on the beach in one of the open-air restaurants of the coast. In 2022 it gained the BLUE FLAG for the quality of the sea water which allowed snorkeling and Scuba Diving around the Promontorio with natural breathtaking views. Running along the Sabaudia coastal road, and having reached Torre Paola, a bridge of the Roman port-canal. Subsequently, a footpath emerges to the right; it ascends to the peak of Circe, famous for Omer's Odyssey, achieved only after a two hours long climb.

Other places to visit: Terracina, Sperlonga, Fondi, Capri, Ischia, Procida, Montecassino, the romanic Abbey of Fossanova and Casamari, the wonderful gardens of Landriana in Tor San Lorenzo and the famous Ninfa Gardens. San Felice Circeo is half way from Rome and Naples. Also well connected by train and buses. Historic sites are all around the province. Pompei and Ercolano and the Sorrento Coast are easy getting sites from the property and plus other not listed on officials publications. From April to October daily connection (and in other season twice a week) by ferries to the Pontine's Islands: Ponza, Ventotene and Zannone. Three wonderful island where small motorboats and pedalos may be rented. The coastline offers many secluded bays, grottoes and the transparent water is perfect for snorkelling amongst the fish. The pretty harbour with restaurants, bars and shops is a perfect heaven. Contacting the local tourist board opportunity to hire a sailing boat and sail privately to the island.

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa. It is the perfect location to explore te beautiful area of Circeo and Sabaudia. Plenty of space outside for sitting al fresco and for the kids to play.

We enjoyed our time at this place extremely. Back in Munich we think back to a very calm house, furnitured in good taste with old sailing features and pictures. We are two adults and 5 children. There was plenty of room for everyone. Modern bathrooms, a little dark but well equipped kitchen. The garden was beautiful and very big. A fireplace for barbecue, a pergola, everything in excellent shape due to occasional -discret- visits by an old gardener. The contact to Guilia was very pleasant. Even a Volleyball net promised by her, arrived on the day of our arrival, brought by a neighbour. A lonely supermarket (don´t be afraid rather a little shop, small, well equipped, a little bit exclusive) right across the street helped us with all those little cooking stuff. Every night we climbed the old city (just 10 min by foot -don´t take the big street, but turn left, right at the corner to the main street and then take the stairs) for an ice-cream or a coffee. We visited the beach open to public behind the harbor and enjoyed warm water. For us it was just perfect and the contact to Giulia was always nice and very polite. Thank you for the nice time!

We went on holidays at casa Circeo on late april and had a good wheather all the week long. The house was confortable and quiet and is well suited for groups of 6 to 11 individuals. The garden is nice for "dolce vita", but there are so much sites to visit that we had hardly time to have good time in the garden. S.F Circeo and surroundings are very nice places where there are much activities and things to see. We also visited more distant places : Rome and Pompei, and that were great insight into Italian history.

Thank you for a lovely stay at San Felice Circeo and in your house. We specially apreciated the fine terrace and the lovely garden.Although we were ten persons there was plenty of room for us all. Very nice surrondings, especially the old village nearby and the nice beach in the national park of San Circeo. We warmly recommend a stay at your place.
