A road that goes through the woods of oak and old chestnut trees, in a crossed by man but nature still wild, the 'Azienda Agricola Il Nido di Luca Ciancianaini is a place and a quiet space and quiet, to spend an holiday away from the rhythms and bustle of modernity. It 'a big newly renovated house on top of a hill. The magnificent location is enhanced by the large swimming pool located in front of the house, from where you can enjoy an amazing view over the natural amphitheater of the imposing Apuan Alps. Away from traffic, the property is bordered on one side with a small old village, and the other is completely surrounded by woods. To the warm and relaxing atmosphere of the place, it combines a relaxation area consists of a fitness room, sauna and sensory tub. The entire property is fenced and the access regulated by the closed gate. Around the house the activities in the farm for the production of some local produce (vegetables, jams oil) made with passion, respecting natural and environmentally friendly techniques rhythms. Situated between the natural park of the Apuan Alps and the National Park of 'Apennine, the property is about 35 km from the sea. The location is strategic to visit the area of 5 Terre but also the hinterland of Tuscany, in the areas of Garfagnana and Lunigiana: wilds, but rich in historical sights (castles) landscape (streams rivers, narrow Giaredo, lakes, mountain) and unforgettable flavors. Easily reached by own means also Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena and many other Tuscan destinations not to be missed. Lastly, the Aulla station is about 15 km away, and can be considered a good alternative for traveling to other tourist centers.

Il Nido offers wonderful views in a very private setting. It is a 12 minute drive to Fivizzano so you’ll want to plan your groceries for the stay. There are hiking trails accessible right at the entrance gate. The host is very accommodating. If want a peaceful and relaxing stay this is a great choice.

Nous avons passés 15 jours en famille dans ce havre de paix. Nous sommes tombés littéralement amoureux de ce cadre tellement magnifique et plus particulièrement de la Ligurie et de la Toscane. Que dire sur Luca qui est une personne extrêmement serviable, gentil, de bon conseil et discret. Nous recommandons à 100% cette location.
PS: Pour les prochains, prenez soins de fifi 😉

Just spent the month of June at "il Nido. We had a wonderful trip. The location is truly spectacular!. Our host Luca was a terrific host. You hardly know he is there...in our case we enjoyed speaking with him and he provided lots of information on sites around Fivizzano. He had prepared food for us when we arrived and he brought food to us on 2 other occasions that was really tasty and a nice treat. I had a few issues with tolls and the rental car and he provided help to me. I can not say enough about how nice and generous the host is for this property. We were really sad when we had to leave...such a wonderful place. I highly recommend this property. We are from the country in Tennessee in the United States, and this location while being in Italy, really became home to us.
