Everything was amazing! The bed was comfy, the AC worked super well, the windows kept out sound (except the church bells) at night. Ample towels, keurig with coffee, utensils to cook. A small washer in the basement for laundry. Huge patio with amazing views for breakfast and dinner.

Rooftop hottub only accessible via booked time slot with a high surcharge.

What a FANTASTIC place to stay! It is just as the pictures show and was very comfortable. I got great rest as it was also quiet. The staff is beyond amazing with how quickly they respond and help you find what you need. I really appreciated being shown the room and everything I would need. By far the easiest room to find out of my four stays in Riomaggiore and very easy to get into the lock box.

The hallway is dark when exiting the room and there are stairs. Easy to navigate as long as you have a flashlight or your phone. Everything else was absolutely perfect!

The location was great! It is 5 minutes to the train and very close to shops/restaurants. The a building behind the main street, so that makes a surprising difference in the noise levels. The main bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The washing machine was also very helpful. There is a self-laundry nearby, but I didn’t want to spend my time waiting there for laundry. The price of the apartment was good value. I made some last minute changes and I was surprised that it was still available. Many people say they prefer Monterosso because it has a real beach and more restaurants. But it was very crowded from day/weekend vistors and also the restaurant prices were higher too. You can visit any of the towns easily from Riomaggiore and it’s also very convenient that it’s only a 6 minute train to La Spezia. There aren’t many grocery stores in any of the 5 villages, so it was nice to be able to go to La Spezia to pick up more groceries.

The sofa bed/ trundle wasn’t set up properly when we got there and I thought it was broken. But the owner sent an image of how the sofa bed should be set up and we were able to get it lined up quickly. There could have been a few more cooking utensils. There was only one wooden spatula, but thankfully we didn’t cook too much so it wasn’t a major hassle to wash it while cooking.

there are extremely steep stairs to get into the apartment that should be considered if you are coming with people who cannot manage stairs well, the room was a bit humid which made it hard for us to dry out our clothes after rinsing them out
