My wife was well catered for with regards to gluten free (good options on the breakfast and even had GF biscuits available in our room).
Room was a decent size with ensuite, plenty of towels and storage.
We'd forgotten to bring toothpaste and Ann was happy to provide a tube.
The hosts Ann & Barry are really friendly and welcoming.
There are pubs and restaurants within a short walk.
Mattress was a bit on the soft side and the shower pressure seemed low, unless you have it on nearly completely cold.

Clean, very friendly and excellent breakfast. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Shower and bath were great. One of the owners even gave me a lift to the venue we were down at for a wedding

My one night stay at Thornsgill House at Askrigg was a real highlight of my walk across Yorkshire and one that was clearly not enough. So next year I'll be returning again to enjoy one of the best bed and breakfasts I gave ever stayed at. Everything was excellent. The welcome, the bedroom, and the breakfast. Thanks Anne & Barry for getting me back to fitness to tackle Day 2 of 8 through the Dales.
