Good location for bars and restaurants. However we paid extra for a bigger room for us for 2 nights the other room was a standard for our son for one night,, Because we were getting ready in the room to attend a wedding on Saturday
In the bathroom only one spot light was working out of five , difficult to apply make up and have a shave under poor light conditions. I then tried the dressing table and the bulb in the lamp was not working , I reported it and was told that they would inform house keeping nothing was actioned during our stay. Breakfast was poor ,cheap sausages pale yolk eggs and in lots of fat .
We put the “make up our room “ sign on the outside of the door and went out @ 10.30 on the Saturday morning however when we returned late Saturday night nobody had cleaned our room .Im cross that we paid extra for the room and certainly didn’t get the service. When we checked out on the Sunday@ 11am nobody was about I shouted in the kitchen because I could hear a radio, looked in the smoking area so eventually just left the key behind the bar . Told my husband and he went back in after loading the car and he too could not find anyone so we left.Very disappointed
