The bed was super comfy and the room was very big with a sofa in it. There was a bath and lots of hot water as well as very nice toiletries.
In the communal dining area there was a handy fridge freezer for all to use and breakfast making facilities. The whole place had a period feel with lots of memories from the host's travels and history. The little pond outside was a very calming place to sit too surrounded by fragrant blooms.

The whole building is aesthetically pleasing and visually appealing. It's only a short walk from the promenade and beautiful Morrab Gardens. I got a comfortable and spacious room on the first floor. It was quiet and serene. They have a beautiful little garden for guests to enjoy. I'd love to come back sometime!
The radiator in the bathroom wasn't working so it was a bit chilly in the evening. Old windows aren't airtight so it was draughty.
