Wonderful little stop. Nice and restful. Enjoyed our stay.
Smiles, roads were a little tight getting around, an experience we were accustomed to.

The gite was perfectly located, only 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to the beautiful village of Villandry. Our hosts were very responsive to any requests.
The bathroom would benefit from an upgrade. Whilst adequate the shower was a little dated and on the small side for my larger than average husband.

Amazing big garden. The property is so well equipped for anything you may need for your family holiday, from cooking utensils to a cot, to many toys for kids and play equipment outside. We also loved the pool even though it was unfortunately bad weather a lot of the time we were there so couldn’t use it as much. You can walk into the village in about 10-15 minutes but there is no footpath for a lot of the walk (but not many cars around).
The owners live next door so can help with any problems, but it feels like you are in the house by yourself as it’s still quite separate which is great.

We traveled as a family with two children and had an absolutely wonderful time! The house has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We were particularly pleased with the large, well-kept grassy area.
The swimming pool was a huge plus, of course. The location is very convenient, close to major highways, which allowed us to quickly get to all the castles and attractions in the Loire Valley.
We want to give a special thanks to the incredibly friendly and hospitable hosts. We highly recommend this place!
