Pleasant recently renovated tuffeau house including:
living room, large kitchen with fireplace, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, terrace and large garden

Lovely property with everything working as it should.very quiet country surroundings.the hosts had a large friendly dog which liked to visit now and then.Martine also gave us a pot of homemade jam.
The only problem we encountered was that although we cleaned the property thoroughly the hosts insisted we pay the cleaning fee (we did) as they seemed to want to do it again themselves. They pointed out we didn't do a shower door.
It would be better therefore to include the fee in the overall cost of the rental to avoid any misunderstanding.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped throughout. Our hosts Jacky and Martine were welcoming. A perfect location, quiet, tranquil but also a good base for visiting several chateaux and Fontevraud Abbey. The cavalry museum at Saumur is an interesting experience. Martine and her daughter were very friendly when we arrived and showed us the house. It is very big and clean and very well equipped. The garden is very nice for the children. Location is also very good with many castles to visit in the neighbourhood. Jackie stopped by later and they showed our son the tractors at the farm.
