The Space:
Bennett's Cottage is a charming cottage resting at the centre of Oakham in Rutland, East Midlands. There are two bedrooms in the cottage, made up of a king-size and a twin, served by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, sleeping four guests in total. There is also a ground floor cloakroom, kitchen/diner and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside is a private, enclosed courtyard and parking permit for one car. Additional parking can be found at the roadside or in a nearby pay and display car park. Bennett's Cottage is a superb holiday home for a family of four looking to explore Rutland and beyond. The Neighborhood:
The county town of Rutland, Oakham is a wonderful place from which to explore the East Midlands. Offering a traditional experience for its visitors, its amenities include a good range of shops, restaurants and bars to while away the hours in, as well as a local history museum, a castle and church, all being perfect for the history seeker. Take the train to Nottingham or Leicester for even more amenities including wonderful shopping experiences, or soak in the beauty of the Rutland Water Nature Reserve for a day to remember.
