The brick-and-flint exterior of this traditional Norfolk cottage lends the place instant curb appeal, a lovely sight to admire whilst enjoying drinks or dinner in the capacious, enclosed garden. Once indoors, the traditional features continue with the use of an original Aga oven in the winter months. Despite its age, the accommodation has been thoroughly modernised to create an elevated base for your getaways; including a Smart TV in the lounge and two bedrooms, and all of the appliances your kitchen may need. Five sumptuous bedrooms are laid out alongside three bathrooms across the ground and first floors, with the smallest, snuggest room offering a single bed.
The popular Norfolk towns of Fakenham (5 miles) and Dereham (9 miles) are each just a drive away, both surrounded by pretty countryside and enjoyable walking trails peppered with plenty of inviting country pubs. For seaside appeals, head towards Hunstanton (24.5 miles) to find a wide, sandy beach and coastal amusements including a Sealife centre and a kid’s fairground. You may find the neighbouring town of Heacham (23 miles) to be a little bit quieter, home to Norfolk’s famed lavender farm that’s well worth a sunny day stop off.
