About this cottage rental

This five-bedroom property, set within a working farm a fantastic base for family adventures in Lincolnshire. You’ll be in a lovely rural spot with plenty to do nearby – it’s just 4.5 miles from the ARK Wildlife and Dinosaur Park in Stickney, where animal encounters and prehistoric thrills await – and 2 miles from the remains of the 13th-century Bolingbroke Castle. Aviation fans can explore the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre (2 miles), home to rare wartime aircraft and vehicles. When the sea air calls, the golden sands of Skegness (15 miles) and the charming seaside spot of Chapel St Leonards (17 miles) promise classic days out at the coast, complete with ice cream and fish and chips if you fancy it. For something more adrenaline-fuelled, Fantasy Island Theme Park (16 miles) offers fun for all ages.


Step inside this welcoming farmhouse to find a spacious open-plan kitchen/diner, a wonderful room with a striking feature fireplace and doors leading out to the impressive garden. From here, a hallway branches off towards the owner’s office, a handy downstairs WC, and the lounge – a generously sized yet cosy space with two sofas, two armchairs, a wood burner, a Smart TV and a coffee table – great for relaxing together. Upstairs, all five bedrooms have large windows with countryside or garden views to wake up to. There are three king-size rooms, a twin room, plus a smaller bunk room ideal for children. Bathrooms are beautifully finished, with a family bathroom featuring a free-standing bath, double sinks, shower and WC, plus a separate shower room and additional WC. The landing is also roomy and bright, complete with a statement mirror.


Outside, there’s ample parking for four cars (shared driveway with farm machinery), a large patio with BBQ and table seating for ten. A large mature enclosed garden perfect for kids and dogs to play, surrounded by plenty of wildlife and bird watching.
