The seaside town of Swanage is a true traditional gem of a holiday location in this lovely corner of Dorset.
The local area has numerous activities to enjoy - for the more adventurous there are a number of water sports you can try or for those looking for a slower pace enjoy a stroll along the sandy beach and find a local ice cream to try!
Within driving distance are Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum, further along the coast you can visit Weymouth Sealife Centre.
