Switch off and recharge in this peaceful cottage surrounded by quiet country lanes yet just a short distance from the coast. Let the children run around in the garden while you admire the rural views - this is a relaxing and comfortable retreat for families and groups of friends.
The spacious living areas of this welcoming property are free-flowing throughout the ground floor. Leather sofas and an armchair gather around a Smart TV at one end, leading to another seating area - a choice of spots in which to while away the evening. The dining space opens into the kitchen, which includes a tall fridge/freezer and a filter coffee machine. A light and pretty double room on the ground floor has French doors to the garden, and there’s also a twin bedroom and a shower room (with shower chair if required) on this floor. The same configuration is repeated on the first floor - a double and a twin bedroom, sharing a shower room. If you feel like grilling some delicious delicacies, there’s a private patio area with a BBQ and furniture. The large, lawned garden is shared with the owners and, at its far end, an additional patio area has stunning views of the open countryside.
East Barsham is a small village nestled in rolling countryside, 3.5 miles from the market town of Fakenham and 8 miles from Wells-next-the-Sea. The area is renowned for its bird-watching opportunities, with both Cley Marshes and Blakeney Point around 16 miles away. You are surrounded by The Burnhams - a collection of seven hamlets and villages, each with their own character. Visit Burnham Overy Staithe, 12.5 miles, with its harbour for sailing, or Burnham Market, 10.5 miles, which offers boutique shopping, delicatessens, wine merchants, galleries and more.
