About this cottage rental

This charming brick and flint cottage, in the centre of the coastal village of East Runton, has a contemporary feel having been recently refurbished while retaining the original period features. With all the mod-cons available in the kitchen, you can whip up a culinary delight using fresh, seasonal produce found along the Norfolk coast. Spark up the wood burner on chilly nights or settle in the courtyard on balmy evenings.

Enter via the lobby which has room for your coats and boots and head into the sitting/dining room which has been attractively furnished with comfortable seating, a wood burner, a Smart TV, a Blu-ray player, and a dining table and chairs for four. The kitchen is spacious, featuring everything you need to cater for your group, and the ground floor is completed with a bathroom that includes a large, walk-in shower. Moving upstairs, the first bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams with a king-size bed and a TV/DVD player. The second bedroom is a twin room. The garden is a fully enclosed gravelled courtyard garden with a patio area, a gas BBQ, a table and chairs.

East Runton is a small village and a popular holiday destination; with stunning cliff-top views out to the North Sea and a long sandy beach, it’s a great base for exploring the North Norfolk coast. Just 1.5 miles to Cromer and 3 miles to Sheringham, there is plenty to keep you entertained. East Runton is on the coastal path, which starts where the high street in Sheringham meets the promenade and ends at Cromer Pier. It’s a picturesque walk along mainly grassy cliff-top paths with paved paths along the seafront. For the foodies in your group, you’ll be perfectly placed to sample the local delights from Cromer crab to Brancaster mussels, artisan cheeses to freshly picked samphire. The village itself has two pubs, restaurants and several small shops, and at low tide, there is a wide expanse of flat, dog-friendly sand, perfect for walks all year round. You won’t have to travel far to make this a holiday to remember.
