This charming, coastal-themed holiday home is in the Victorian resort of Hunstanton on Norfolk’s west coast. The property, which welcomes four guests, is just 1.5 miles from the town’s sandy beach, perfect for a traditional seaside getaway. Days out from the cottage include Norfolk Lavender and the Royal Sandringham Estate, both within 10 miles.

The seaside bolthole enjoys a tranquil location, tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac. The bright, inviting retreat is decorated in coastal colours, with little nautical touches in the soft furnishings and accessories. From the entrance hallway, head through to the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. Here, you’ll find a stylish kitchen area and a cute dining table for sharing mealtimes. In the evenings, sink into one of the plump sofas to watch the Smart TV in the glow of the wood burner. The coastal theme continues in the two charming bedrooms – choose from a double or a twin. A contemporary bathroom with underfloor heating completes the accommodation. Outside, soak up the sunshine on the decked veranda, where you’ll find an array of furniture for al fresco dining or relaxation. From here, steps lead down to an attractive garden with a patio area with further seating, two small lawns, and a delightful summerhouse – the ideal spot for a sundowner. The property has private parking for one car and there is also on-street parking nearby, subject to availability.

Hunstanton is a vibrant coastal town with traditional seaside attractions, including crazy golf and amusement arcades. The family-friendly sandy beach enjoys fabulous sunsets, and keen walkers can join the Norfolk Coast Path, which starts in the town. For a more laid-back vibe, head 1 mile along the coast to Old Hunstanton, with its quaint cottages and cosy village pubs. For a day of retail therapy, journey 12 miles to Burnham Market, which boasts over 30 independent shops.
