I stayed here for an entire week and the apartment very well accommodates for that as it is very well quipped. The location and the apartment are exceptional! The architecture of the apartment is very playful and allows for a lot of light to enter. Tastefully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need including a good coffee machine. The roof terrace is sunny and facing the cathedral, offering breathtaking views. There are two bedrooms and both have a bathroom en suite, one has a shower and the other one has a beautiful big bath tub. There's also more than enough closet space to store your clothes and jackets. The apartment is also very centrally located. On the adjacent street (Hoogstraat) you'll find a lot places to go for dinner and you're also very close to the Scheldt River and the Grote Markt. Nearest parking is the Grote Markt parking which is 31,50€ a day. All in all an exceptional apartment with great value for money. Would definitely book this apartment again!
A few issues presented itself shortly upon arriving so the day after arrival I contacted the owner through Booking as I find it unfair to leave a critical note here without consulting the owner first. Unfortunately I never got a response.
I contacted the owner about was the WiFi that wasn't working. After a few days I eventually found a workaround for my laptop by pressing a button on the modem but I still couldn't connect my phone as it needed a valid password. Second topic was the mouse trap in the kitchen. Throughout the apartment you're requested to take of your shoes, which I understand and respect, but then I do not wish to stub my toe against a mouse trap. This didn't leave a very hygienic impression although the rest of the apartment was clean.
Other things that we're not as urgent but to take into account were:
The stairs to the apartment are very steep. Wasn't a big deal for me but if you have physical limitations or a lot of luggage this might be challenging.
One of the stair railings was loose.
A lot of light enters the apartment which is pleasant by day, but not when you're a sensitive sleeper. It's hard to keep the light out so bring a sleeping mask if you're sensitive to light.
There was only one kitchen towel and three bathroom towels provided for the entire week which wasn't enough for me personally.
There wasn't enough warm water to entirely fill the bath tub.
When I arrived shortly after check-in time the cleaners we're still there.

“The location couldn’t be better, set right in the heart of town, with beautiful views of the cathedral towers from the rooftop. The kitchen appliances were great and functioning well.
The only drawback was the lack of blackout curtains on the windows, which made the rooms quite bright early in the morning. If you’re sensitive to light while sleeping, it’s worth bringing a good eye mask.

Der Penthouse Style auf mehreren Ebenen und die Dachterasse. Jedes Schlafzimmer hatte ein eigenes kleines Bad.
Leider waren die Treppen zur Unterkunft sehr mühsam. Mit viel Gepäck hatte man leider echt Probleme.
