About this house rental
Zuid42 is a cozy and bright cottage with three floors (140 m2) situated in a quiet street in 't Zuid in Antwerp. The Southern district forms the southern part of Antwerp's city center and is a bustling, trendy area with many museums, restaurants of all types and sizes, terraces and nice shops.
Rental Zuid42 is, except the basement, fully equipped as a holiday home. The interior is comfortable and practical with comfortable beds and nice details.
Behind the door is a spacious hall with coat hangers, a cupboard for shoes and bags and plenty of space for storing for example a pram. The living space on the ground floor is furnished with a large sofa and a round dining table. On request, can be put down a chair and toys.
The ground floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and stove. There is a toilet and a small outdoor area.
From the hall a staircase leads to the first floor with a bedroom and a sitting room / bedroom adjacent. In the cozy bedroom is a large double bed (180x200) with electrically adjustable bed frames.
The living room on the first floor is furnished with a large sofa (bed) and a comfortable armchair. Also here is a television which can be incorporated as desired TV programs for later viewing. If 6 people stay in this room Zuid42 is a full bedroom with a bed of 160x200. By closing a curtain the sleeping area is separated from the passage to the second floor.
On the second and top floor is the master bedroom with a large double divan (200x200cm). If desired, the bed can be made up as two single time. The spacious bathroom with shower is located on this floor.

Beautiful home in the heart of a beautiful city. We walked all over from this location. To Grote Market Square, to the riverfront. Felt very safe everywhere. Even at night. Right at the end of the block there is a circle with restaurants on every corner. Every place we ate was delicious. Host was kind and helpful. Answered all our many questions. This is first time overseas and first time in a non english speaking country, so it was nice to have a host help us adjust and figure out whats what. One of my travel mates fell and needed an xray. The hostess helped us find the best facility to bring her to. The hosts guidance was invaluable.The rental unit was clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. My husband really enjoyed the adjustable bed frame to sit up and read. The upstairs bathroom was more spacious than the picture conveyed. Roomy. Water pressure was good and water got hot. If we ever return to Antwerp we will stay here again. Highly recommend.

Das Haus ist in Ordnung und liegt in einer ruhigen Straße,
aber in einem sehr lebhaften Viertel, wo man abends gut feiern kann.
Es konnte jeder kommen und gehen wann er wollte, da für jeden ein Transponder (Schlüssel) hatte.
