Awesome view great host and unbelievable experience

While the house was clean, we had several issues. First of all, there is no visible number on the house so we had trouble finding it. When we did, the entry code didn't work and we had to hunt for a garage door opener to get in.Our first batch of dishes in the dishwasher never got clean and there was a puddle of soap in the bottom. We ended up hand washing and drying that batch and every batch thereafter. A repairman was scheduled for the day after we left, which, I'm sure was not the fault of the owner.We had one towel each for the week and, when we went to wash some to reuse, we found kitty litter in the space marked soap so we bought our own soap.The site said if there were more people we would find sleeping bags for the extras but, in spite of the fact that we clearly listed 9 people, no sleeping bags were available.When we emptied the kitchen garbage the first time, we found there were no more liners so we bought those as well.On the night we planned a grilled dinner, we found an empty propane tank.There are very few windows that actually open so the house was like a greenhouse every day.In the living room there are 3 very large plants which, while lovely, were actually in the way.We won't be renting this house again.

Great owner / provider. The beach view is great and wonderful hospitality. The house was a little dated in the kitchen and no real sitting w tv area to relax and watch a movie or TV/Sports. Hoped for more sitting outside w beach views. Thank you

We were extremely excited for this trip. It had the accommodations we needed. It stated sleeps 10 and yet we were charged an extra guest rate for 4 of the 10 guests for the entire stay rather than the two nights that all 10 of us were there. My repeated requests to discuss this charge were completely ignored by the host, The setting was beautiful. The house was accommodating, but very stuffy. Very few windows opened so we had to run fans instead of being able to enjoy the ocean breeze we anticipated. When we got ready to barbecue the propane tank was empty. when asked for a reimbursement of our cost to fill it, she offered to drop the money off. We had a busy day planned so I asked her to put it towards the gratuity for her cleaning crew. To shower guests had to use one of the two bedroom suites. There was no shower available in the main hall bathroom. The dishwasher was not working and in reviewing other reviews, I see that it hadn’t been working for quite some time. It is a beautiful home with awesome views and we had a wonderful time there inspite of the issues.
