The fenced yard is ideal for kids who need to stretch their legs. Inside this welcoming home, find an open floor plan with wood floors, fresh furnishings, and thoughtful decor. A convenient home office is appointed with two desks, a selection of board games, and a sofa bed. After fun-filled days, unwind for movie nights in the living area. Or concoct a midnight snack in the sparkling kitchen, fitted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Added perks of this getaway include a TV in both bedrooms, a baby changing station in the guest bedroom, complimentary WiFi, and partial air-conditioning.

Dock details: take the access road on the right hand side of the house and stay to the left. This will take you to the dock and fire pit/picnic area. Boats and RV are NOT for guest use.

Serenity is the perfect name for this place. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Counted the different birds we could hear; geese, crows, jays, red-winged blackbird, Kingfisher, dove.... Coffee on the deck each morning and wine each evening and times in between. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of nice windows. Comfortable bed. Delicious fish and fried oysters from the Crazy Norwegian. We could often hear the waves crashing off in the distance. It was very clean. One of the few places we have ever stayed where walking around in our sock feet didn't turn them black. Excellent cleaning of the floors. Will look forward to returning in the future.

There are a lot of things to love about this lake home. The location is fantastic, a beautiful view of Garrison Lake, close to activities in Port Orford and a nice home base to explore the area. The road is very quiet and private and it was so peaceful to wake up to the sounds of nature all around. The house is well outfitted with supplies and the beds are comfortable. There are several points of the house that are rundown or need a good cleaning. All the baseboards are filthy, the shower has green slime and the rubber sealant is coming off. A couple of the bathroom towels had a mildew smell to them. The door handle to the stove fell off when opening it, there are loose drawer handles and missing clothing hooks that are just broken off. Additionally the deck railing doesn't feel secure and was loose in one area that left an exposed rusty screw. The house could use a deep cleaning and a handyman to do some general repairs. Lastly I booked through VRBO but the reservation also went through Vacasa. I got communication from both companies which I found a little frustrating and slightly confusing.
