The Space:
This oceanfront Mendocino vacation rental home is the perfect setting for kicking back with friends and family, enjoying a glass of wine on the patio, and watching the waves roll in. This home is set up on a bluff, which allows for a fantastic view. Set back from the edge of the ocean so one can observe varied wildlife grazing with the Pacific sunset as a backdrop. You will love every minute spent at Sunset Point! Centrally located, you'll be a short drive to either Fort Bragg or Mendocino Village. Take a quick walk to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens for a floral experience.
Ocean-focused and single-level, almost every room in this relaxed, open floor-plan home is designed to maximize beach views. A large westward-facing deck, living room windows, and a telescope in the living room and sound dock allow for hours of whale watching, storm surveillance, and sunset soirees. The viewing room is a masterpiece, with oceanfront full windows, a sizeable Persian rug framed by an ocean-facing sofa, and plush swivel chairs to choose from when taking in the ocean views or participating in what's happening indoors. Victorian-inspired patterns and designs lead you into the second sitting area, again with total ocean views, two sofas in front of a TV with a DVD player, and a wood-burning stove.

Incredible kitchen for cooking Thanksgiving dinner combined with stunning views and ample, convenient sleeping arrangements, including MBR away from the kitchen and other bedrooms. Convenient access to beaches and hiking.

This home is located on such a spectacular cliff. Watching the sunset and listening the waves, incredible. Deer and jack rabbits greeted us throughout the day. Bordering the botanical gardens, huge plus. Home is very privacy and on a quiet drive. The property manager is extremely responsive. The home is as described, although seems far brigther in the photos than when you're in it. The house was clean, but the master bedroom needs the carpet replaced. Quite stained. The kitchen appears to be newly remodeled and had everything we could have ever needed. The owners / property managers thought of all little amenities and toiletries even black towesl for makeup removal and makeup removal pads. I don't remember the brand of the shampoos and soaps, but it smelled incredible. Beds were comfortable. Ocean breeze was sufficient and didn't miss not having AC although I would suggest they have someone come out and oil some of the windows as we couldn't open a couple of them. However, there are many windows, so this wasn't an issue. While the house could use minor updating, its an incredible spot and a lovely home. We were very comfortable in it and would definitely rent it again. Thank you.
