Chic & Comfy 1 Bed Apartment Sheffield Stay

The property was a great location and the owner had done a lovely arrangement for my husband birthday in the apartment with balloons chocolate etc. overall a very good stay and good value for money.

The front door could be temperamental meaning ourselves and others were struggling in the rain to get into the apartment block, also there was a strong smell of cooking in the apartment and would peak throughout certain times of day and night, facilities were great however a full length mirror would be beneficial.

Straightforward instructions to enter property. I noticed the door code changed from the time of booking to a day before arrival so it was important to keep an eye out on the most recent communication. Fully equipped - kitchen had tea, coffee and sugar. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner available in bathroom. Host was responsive when I asked about WiFi passkey. The bed was big and comfortable.

The main door was a bit temperamental. One evening I could not get the door to open and thought I was going to be locked out! The first evening I managed to get some streaming services eg ITVX and BBC iplayer but for some reason I wasn't able to get them on the home screen after the first night. I could not work out how to switch the hoover on. There were no drinking glasses but plenty of wine glasses and two sets of different sized mugs.

The location for central Sheffield was excellent. Facilities were good and the communication from the host was great.
