Do not book this place and beware the £250 deposit. Check in was a complete mess. After booking, I got an email saying someone would meet me at the property. The day before arriving I got another email asking me to upload a photo of ID and pay £250 deposit. It is true that this is mentioned - hidden in small writing - on the details page on Agoda but is not obvious. When I arrived, no one showed up. After half an hour of trying to contact Homely Apartments by both phone and message, they emailed a code for the door. The flat smelt of smoke, although it is non smoking. The oven shelves were sticky. It is slightly cheaper than average in Sheffield but you can find much nicer places (last week I stayed in an Airbnb in Broomhall and the difference is massive). The £250 deposit was refunded 11 days after check out, only after a message (unanswered two days later) and phone call, from which it seemed that they had forgotten to process the refund.
