Situated in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, Rough Close Farm Cottage offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat just outside the charming village of Ashover. This two-bedroom cottage combines traditional character with modern comforts, making it an ideal getaway for couples, families, or friends looking to explore the Peak District.
The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen, featuring an AGA with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals together, complete with a dining area for relaxed gatherings. The inviting living room includes a log burner and a TV, creating the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring. Off from the living room, guests will find a football table for a bit of friendly competition and a telescope to take in the sweeping views across the Ashover countryside. A handy downstairs cloakroom adds extra convenience.
Upstairs, the cottage offers two comfortable bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished to ensure a restful night's sleep. In the second bedroom there is a large super-king bed that can be made into two singles upon request at the time of booking. The modern bathroom includes a bath, shower, and W/C, providing a bright and refreshing space to start or end your day.
