Lovely cottage in a great village, lots of walks straight from the door step , local places to drink and eat , close to a bus route
Lorries very close to the door definitely couldn't put our car on the front but parking near by so not to bad

The property was clean and well-equipped and the location is ideal if you are touring the area. There is a pleasant walk across the road, should you have a dog with you. There are amenities nearby but the local grocery closes at 6.00pm.
Disappointing Stay – Not Ideal for a Peaceful Break
If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, I would not recommend this accommodation. Unfortunately, it is located on one of the busiest roads I've ever encountered while on a break. From around 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there is a constant flow of heavy lorries and traffic, which significantly impacted the tranquillity of our stay
It is worth pointing out the property has steep steps and stairs both inside and outside, which could pose a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.
Parking was also a concern. The on-road parking is quite precarious, and I was constantly worried about potential damage to my vehicle, due to the narrow space and traffic volume.
Overall, this property did not meet our expectations or needs. If you're comfortable with noise and don’t mind navigating very steep steps, it may suit you. I do feel the listing should be updated to clearly mention these issues so that future guests can make a fully informed decision.
