About this cottage rental
Lavender Cottage is situation at ‘North Bridge’ in the north of Chiddingfold in rural Surrey. We are conveniently placed for walking in the Downs, for ambling around the market towns of Haslemere, Godaming, Guildford, Farnham, Petersfield, Petworth or Midhurst. Cowdray is close as is Goodwood. You can get to London in an hour and part 1.5 miles away at Witley station. The coast can be accesses in 45 minutes. The village has three pubs and we are a stone throw from the newly renovated Winterton Arms pub. A lovely pub with a fantastic garden and outdoor space. The cottage is Edwardian approx built in 1910 as a two up two down working man’s cottage with quite steep stairs internally. Due to its age the cottage is therefore on a road but once inside with the double glazing it is very cozy. We can fit two cars on our drive. Lavender Cottage is home to the Swanborough family. We are an artistic family and this is reflected in our home. The 4th ‘bedroom’ is outside (no loo). WE HAVE A CAT calm and good with kids. No pets allowed due to already having a cat. He is very independent and is highly sociable.
