The hotel was hosting golf tournaments 3 weddings ! If you are looking for a peaceful night away in a country hotel - then this is not the best choice. Staff really helpful arranged an acccessible room on ground floor for us which was great. Fabulous pub down the lane, because it was so busy we popped into Midhurst and had dinner there, so didn't sample the restaurants at the hotel. Would we stay again - probably not but ideal for wedding guests and golfers .

Limited hours in the pool for kids who also aren’t allowed in the jacuzzi. I think when its very own brochure lists the kids amenities as having a kids menu in the restaurant you know you’ve picked the wrong place. I’m sure this is a great place for a golfing weekend for the lads but there isn’t much to discover around there except for the pub which was good. The staff I found passive aggressive and it’s the type of place that will charge you for every little thing from telling me that late check out was absolutely fine… for a £10 fee (and “reminding” me I had 8 mins before I was charged), making a point of checking the time when I took my son to the pool (there was still an hour to go so the over the top gesture of checking her watch wasn’t really needed especially after the reminder). The type of place that charges £2 per game of pool when most of the cues are broken. Spacious gym which looked like it had classes going on (not that I would know as they were too busy telling me at check in when the kids could go in the pool and not). Not recommending in general (except golf) but then I’ll probably stick well clear of Liphook in general anyway. Not exactly culturally diverse.
