Beach House

Loved this place, great design, comfortable, clean and suited our little family of 3 with the bunk beds! Good facilities with kettle/microwave/fridge and crockery etc, nice bathroom and lovely pool with sauna and hot tub that we could access without any time restrictions for kids. Lovely quiet spot near the south cliff tram down to the spa. Info, comms, internet, tv all worked just fine. Would definitely stay again!

Just a couple of minor tweaks would make it perfect, like a shelf or cupboard in the bathroom to pop your toiletries on and perhaps a coffee table to put your breakfast on, just as there wasn’t really anywhere to put your cereal bowls/prepare a bit of food. And as a light sleeper the noise of the fridge did wake me up a bit but these are minor things and we’d definitely sta again!

We had a lovely stay at The Beach in Scarborough. The property was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows, and the balcony was a lovely addition — perfect for sitting out in the sun with a coffee. The shower room was clean and modern, with a great shower and two shower heads, although the toilet area was a little cramped. The room included a coffee machine, although unfortunately I couldn’t get it working. The WiFi signal also wasn’t the best, likely due to being on a higher floor. We did notice quite a few bugs getting into the room, which is probably expected near the sea, but a fly screen would definitely help. The balcony view was lovely, although there was scaffolding up during our stay. A nice touch was the free parking disc provided at the entrance to the property. The location is beautiful and nicely out of the way from all the busy commotion, but it is a bit of a walk to the arcades and town centre, so it may not suit those who struggle with walking. Our room was also on the third floor, so that’s worth considering too. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay in beautiful weather and would happily return.
