The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The room was hot so there was a cooling tower in it. The staff were so friendly and informative. The breakfast was so good , food piping hot and fresh. Everything was amazing. Would recommend it and would have no hesitation in staying again. So close to the beach and seafront. Also close to shopping mall. It was immaculate.

Such a lovely place to stay. The owners were very welcoming, the location was great and the scrambled eggs I had for breakfast were the best I've EVER tasted. Combined with a full 7 hours undisturbed sleep which I haven't had in years, needless to say, we will definitely be back. Thank you for such a lovely stay ❤️

A huge old house, loads of staircases and atmosphere, and friendly staff. The breakfast was huge - two sausages, two rashers of bacon, plenty of beans and mushrooms and real grilled tomatoes. My only complaint (and it's common in all B&Bs) is that a single good butcher's sausage is worth more than two poor economy supermarket versions, and would cost the same (ie 2 cheap bangers cost the same as one good one)
I actually liked the staircases - but any visitor to Scarborough must be ready for slopes, steps, hill-sides and a good outing for the legs - and it doesn't end when you get to the front door of the hotel.
