This traditional sandstone barn conversion is beautifully situated between the coastal treasures of Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay, making it an ideal base for families, friends, and walkers alike.
As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by an open patio area at the front of the cottage, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee in the sunshine while listening to birdsong. Step inside to find a boot room, providing plenty of space for muddy boots and outdoor gear after a day on the trails. The cosy living room features an open fire, a corner sofa and a comfy armchair, ideal for curling up in the evenings. The country-style kitchen has a warm and homely feel, with a dining table at its centre where everyone can gather for hearty meals. There is also a family bathroom on the ground floor with a shower over the bath. One step down from the lounge leads to a versatile super king bedroom, which can be made up as two singles if required. This room also benefits from its own en suite bathroom, offering additional privacy. Upstairs, you’ll find two more charming bedrooms, a double room, and another zip-and-link bedroom, both with built-in wardrobes.
Step outside and explore Falling Foss, a breathtaking waterfall nestled in ancient woodland. A short stroll away, you’ll find the delightful Falling Foss Tea Garden, serving up homemade cakes, drinks and snacks in a whimsical setting beside the falls. Surrounding you are miles of woodland walks and moorland trails, including access to the world-famous Coast to Coast route.
