We had a lovely holiday at the house. The caretaker unfortunately only spoke French, but somehow we managed to communicate. Not sure we always understood each other but this did not lead to any issues, fortunately. If you are looking for a well set up house near the beach with a promenade, then look no further. We have as a result stayed here once before.

Lovely week here with lots of walks along the beach. Very well equipped house. Great to have bicycles. Warm welcome from Madame on our arrival.

The house is modern and well equipped. The rooms are plenty big, and the two bathrooms and showers easily accommodated us and our guests. We used Brittainy ferries from Poole...they were great. We rented a car from Europcar....super service and great price. It was an easy drive from Cherbourg. We are from Oregon, USA and had never been to France before....we so enjoyed our time there....we cannot wait to return. I would definitely rent from Mr Piard again.
The house location is perfect for enjoying the beach and for exploring all that Normandy offers...D Day sites, lovely little towns, castles, Bayeux, Mont St Michel...all at a very laid back pace...loved it.

A fantastic self catering cottage with everything we needed. The location was just perfect, with the beach a couple of minutes away. We were greeted warmly by the owner's father who was delightful, as was the housekeeper. We had a very happy stay here and would recommend it to others.
