We’re a family of five and had an amazing 10 day stay at the Trullo Sorluca in late July ‘25. The Trullo was tastefully renovated and was more spacious than pictures suggested. It was beautifully clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The accommodation is split into two adjoining villas both with bathrooms and sitting rooms which worked very well for us with adult children. The kitchen and covered dining terrace could comfortably accommodate a party of eight or ten.The grounds are generous with a large pool and landscaped and well maintained gardens. At the back of the property there’s a large productive garden and the owner gave us an abundance of tomatoes, aubergines, zucchini every few days, which we loved.The villa is well located and very close to Martina Franca, Cisternino, Ostuni, Locorotondo and Alberobello, all of which have beautiful historic old towns with plenty of restaurants and bars. Slightly further afield, about 45 mins drive, you can get to the coast where there’s lots of cove beaches and the coastal ports of Monopoli and Polignano a Mare which are also great to explore and have lovely seafood restaurants.Valentina, who looks after the trullo, was exceptional and advised on things to do and places to visit and eat, she couldn’t have been more helpful.Overall we’d thoroughly recommend staying at the Trullo Sorluca, we had a wonderful break in a beautiful part of Puglia.
