About this house rental
Fabulous ocean views and FRESHLY REMODELED Craftmanship on the Bluff! Over 4,000 Sq Ft of pure luxury can be enjoyed at this contemporary home and casita which offers simple elegance and excellent flow. Soaring 21" ceilings, 60+ windows for your endless ocean views, steam shower, 3 gas fireplaces, Electrolux appliances, radiant heat flooring & more! Views of the ocean from every room in the main house & offers 3 master bedroom suites each with their own private NEW bath.
All showers, and bathroom floors remodeled for 2023! First bedroom is located on the main level with 2 queens size beds and slider out to the patio, en-suite bathroom has a steam shower waiting for you! 2 more bedrooms are located on the upper level. Follow the Myrtle wood stairs up to a relaxing sitting area to sit back and read a book, play a game or just enjoy the panoramic views and whale watching! From here you head to the other bedrooms, each offering a king size bed, en-suite bathrooms and their own sliders out to the balcony. The main house sleeps 8. Need room for a larger group? There is room for 4 more as you spread out to the Casita that offers 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and full kitchen and a shared bath. A perfect location for family gatherings!
Sitting on this beautiful bluff you will not find steps to a beach, but just a 10 minute walk to Mill Beach or a short ride away you will fall in love with Harris State Beach for beachcombing, hiking and more. You can also head to the Port of Brookings/Harbor to book a fishing charter for Ocean fishing or fresh water fishing up the Chetco River which is a world class salmon fishing river. Brookings Harbor is a boating "safe harbor" with excellent crabbing as well. Salmon Run Golf Course is less than 5 miles away. Don't forget that the giant Sequoia redwoods are close by too! Whale watching, sea and river fishing excursions are available locally and thrilling jet boat rides run on the Rogue River in nearby Gold Beach only 30 minutes away. The huge old fashioned 4th of July fireworks display over the harbor is awesome! There are excellent seafood restaurants and fresh seafood markets. Take your catch back to grill out on the BBQ. A variety of interesting shops, art galleries and antique shops to explore. The local open air farmer's market is fun and available Wed and Sat.

The rooms were all roomy and well kept, the view was incredible and unbeatable, kitchen had everything needed. We had a beautiful stay celebrating our wedding, it was perfect. We would love to come back!

Pluses: wow the view! Great hot water, good beds, kitchen has everything you need. Great communication with host Minuses- the acoustics are a problem. They removed the carpets fairly recently, and the sound bounces horribly. Like you can’t chat with someone in the loft or kitchen without making it impossible to talk in the living room. Maybe some wall hangings would help?The bedrooms have no dressers or shelves- just luggage stands and closets wjth hangersThe ovens either don’t work or are too complex to figure out how to work them.
