About this apartment rental
By The Sea is a newly remodeled and beautiful oceanfront two-bedroom, two-bath condo located on the first floor of the "C" building at the Rainbow Rock Condos, located just north of Brookings. The unit is the center of three units and can be accessed without using stairs on either the right or left side of the building. I usually recommend that guests needing to use the flat walkway park on the right side of the building, where there are nice, large parking spots.
By The Sea has breathtaking views of the ocean from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and patio outside. Relax watching the waves crashing below, and boats going by. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a whale! The unit is well-stocked, very comfortable, and inviting, with "By The Sea" decor. The unit is NOT equipped with A/C due to the fact that it rarely gets hot on the ocean bluff, which is located in the banana belt, and there is usually a really nice ocean breeze that keeps temperatures cooler. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms, and the unit does have an extra-large slider door that leads to the closed-in patio and windows that open in both bedrooms. There is an electric fireplace in the living room that provides a nice ambiance, and there is also central heat.
The gated condo complex sits on a bluff overlooking the ocean. There is a private nature trail with lovely bushes, trees, plants, and flowers from the complex to the secluded beach below, where you will find a small cave, rock cliffs with amazing colors, and plenty of tide pools to explore. If the trail is a little challenging for some, Harris Beach State Park is just south of the condos, and they have nice, large concrete walkways down to the beach. There is also Lone Ranch Beach just north of the condos that has easy access as well.
Inside the unit, there is a binder with information that you will need, along with recommendations for other places you might want to check out in the area, as well as restaurants to enjoy.
By The Sea is managed by a local property manager, Valerie, who has been working with vacation rentals since 2014. Valerie is dedicated to making sure that your check-in and stay run smoothly. After booking, she will call you to go over some information, let you know what to expect, provide you with contact information, and answer any questions you may have. Vacations are a time to create lasting memories, and it is our goal to help make them wonderful!

This was the cleanest property we have ever stayed up! And Valerie was so very helpful and accessible. If I had a question, she got back to me right away!The condo was beautifully furnished, and super clean! The view was beyond beautiful! If I ever came back to this part of the country, I would definitely stay there!

I booked this property on short notice to take advantage of photography-friendly weather on the coast. Valerie made the check-in process a breeze. The property was fantastic. The view from the patio was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.
