About this villa rental
The villa is dated back 1660. Most of the first and of the second floor are decorated with original 1600-1700 frescoes, that have been discovered after a 2 years very careful renovation. The property is located at 5 Kms north of Lucca, at just few hundreds meters from the most renomated 'Lucca's historical villas' (VIlla Reale, Villa Grabau, Villa Oliva)
The villa consists of 3 floors with a total surface of approx. 800 sqm.
GROUND FLOOR
In the ground floor there is a big cellar, that has been re-converted into the original winecellar, with wine tasting areas for the guests, some original oak barrels, a great wine selection room. Direct access to the main garden.
In this floor there is the main kitchen with inside the original wood oven, the dining room, a storage room, one bathroom, a second smaller kitchen, a living room, one bathroom.
FIRST FLOOR
Entrance through an external staircase (typical for the 1600s Lucca's villas) into a Hall. From this central room there is the access to: a salon, a dining room with fireplace, one kitchen opening onto the covered patio, one bathroom, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom with its own bathroom, a large Suite with: one master bedroom with a bathroom, the frescoed 'music' room (with piano), a studio and a salon
SECOND FLOOR
In this floor there are: a large and very well equipped Gymn room, 5 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 4 bathrooms
PARK, POOL, LEMON HOUSES
The property has a 1.000 sqm large park, with secular trees and beautiful Mediterranean plants. A roses gallery crosses a side of the garden, from the swimming pool (13X6) to the 'lemon houses' that can be also used for events and for reading and relaxing

From the champagne greeting to the lift to the train station, the hosts were magnificent. Above and beyond. The property was even better than then photos - perfect for our group of friends. Every detail was seen to. Highly recommend & would stay again.

We are an extended family of 15 states at villa. Dario was so responsive it made our stay most enjoyable. You can tell the owners put a lot of love and care into the building. We enjoyed our stay very much. The view from huge porch never got old.

This villa exceeded our expectations in so many ways. From the moment we booked the reservation, Dario was helpful and responsive. He helped us arrange dinners and a cooking class at the villa, plus excursions. Each of these were well done, and enjoyed by our entire family. The villa itself was perfect for our group, with plenty of space inside and out. The outdoor spaces look great in the pictures, and even better in person. We spent a lot of time on the outdoor patio, with great views of the villa grounds and the mountains in the distance. Overall a great experience, thank you Dario and team!
