About this apartment rental
You will be charmed by this tastefully decorated 1 bedroom apartment (located on the 2nd floor of the townhouse, there is one apartment per floor). A 18thC townhouse, combining old and new styles for (what we believe is) a tasteful result. We have paid particular attention to the confort of our guests when choosing such essential elements as the beds and furnitures.
Located on a quiet portion of the pedestrianized main street (rue Nationale). Within easy walking distance from everything that makes Amboise an excellent holiday town.
- Historical sites: 13th C St Denis church, Royal Amboise castle, home to François 1er and other kings of France, the Clos Lucé, last residence of Leonardo da Vinci and historical old town center streets.
- Gourmet restaurants, excellent weekly open air Market on the banks of the Loire, featuring local specialities: Cheeses, wines, meats and local produce.
- Bakery, newsagent, supermarket (open 7am-10pm) Mon-Sat, delicatessens, boutiques.
During the summer months, the town is a hive of activity: night-time open air Markets, street performers, local artists exhibitions, open air swimming pool on the Ile d'or nearby.
A short drive will take you to: Chenonceau castle, Chambord castle... (all main Loire valley castles).

The apartment is lovely, stylishly decorated with everything you need. It is a five minute walk from the centre of Amboise, which is great, near to everything, but not on top of it. Pascale was lovely, helpful and always good on the communications. She even gave us a lift from the train station. We had a fantastic stay.

Quaint, centrally located character apartment in the heart of Amboise. Walking distance everywhere in the main post of town. Literally 10 steps from a fabulous boulangerie and right on the main street.

We loved this property for its location, cleanliness, and the attentiveness of the owner, Pascale. There are two flights of stairs to go up, but even with heavy, wine filled suitcases, we didn’t find them too difficult. If you’re driving there are several options within easy walking distance of the apartment. We would absolutely stay here again!
