This is a great gite, incredibly clean and in a fantastic location. Excellent communication from property owner. It would have been great to have some more information on how to work the appliances in the property.

Great property close to all amenities. Due to health problems I did have difficulties coping with the hill but this did not detract from the setting. Owners very helpful.

This gite is in an excellent location, just 10minutes walk into the pretty town of Amboise. About 15 min walk back as it is a gentle slope. There is safe parking too. The small town has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. We visited the beautiful town of Loches and the magnificent Chateau Chenonceau which did not disappoint, unlike the gite. We briefly met Soazig who was friendly and showed us around. I was most disappointed with the garden; it didn't look anything like the photo. It was overgrown and neglected, and the sun parasol was broken and dangerous. The pillows were uncomfortable as was the sofa. The towels were thin and worn. There was no welcome pack, no English tv, no dvd player and no games. The gite is in an excellent spot but it needs some TLC.
