Pool Heating/Jacuzzi/Spa: If you'd like to enjoy a warm swim or soak, we offer pool and Jacuzzi heating for an additional $100 per night. If you'd like us to heat the pool before your arrival, just let us know and we'll send someone on our team to do so in the morning. Please note, the pool can take anywhere from 5-10+ hours to heat up, depending on the outside temperature, and the Jacuzzi takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Note that you can only heat one at a time, either the pool or the spa, not both.
Please keep in mind: our pool is surrounded by beautiful nature, which can sometimes lead to leaves and twigs ending up in the water. On windy days, there may be more leaves than usual, but we do have a twice a week pool cleaning service to keep it in tip-top shape. We do keep a pool net there just in case you need to use it.
To abide by local legal requirements, you may be asked to complete a secure verification portal by providing a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirming your contact information and sharing the purpose of your stay. The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.

Welcome to our home! We want you to have an amazing time, so we've put together some friendly tips to ensure everyone has a great stay:
1. **No smoking or parties, please!** We have a NoiseAware monitor and Ring doorbell to help us keep things quiet and peaceful for all.
2. **Respect our neighbors.** Please keep things quiet after 10 pm, especially any music or outdoor gatherings. No swimming for groups or kids after 10 pm either.
3. **Let us know who's coming!** Please tell us the exact number of guests staying at the house and if anyone plans to visit during your stay.
4. **No fires, please!** The fireplace is just for decoration, and we're in a fire hazard zone, so no fires anywhere on the property, including smoking.
5. **Parties and events are strictly prohibited.**
6. **Keep things tidy!** Please clean up after yourself to help keep our home neat and tidy.
7. **Pool and garden care:** We have a gardener (Wednesdays) and pool service (Mondays and Fridays) come once a week. You can request for additional cleanings for a fee (covered by the guest) if needed. Please note that sometimes leaves and twigs might fall into the pool, especially between service days. If that happens, feel free to use the pool net to scoop them out. Thanks for helping keep things sparkling!
8. **Furry friends welcome!** We love pets, and they're welcome to join you for an extra fee of $250 per pet. Just let us know beforehand so we can approve it.
9. **Check-in and checkout times:** We're happy to offer early check-in or late checkout if we can, but it depends on availability. There might be an extra fee of $50 per hour.
**A friendly reminder:** While we want you to have a fantastic time, we can't be responsible for any accidents or injuries that happen during your stay. So, please be careful and have fun!

House was in a great location (near Hollywood sign) although it gets a lot of visitors/traffic bc of the nearby trail and lake. We weren’t aware that the pool and spa were not already heated and that it was an extra fee, but we thoroughly enjoyed it once it was warm. There were small things that would’ve been nice to have access to: conditioner, broom, second blow dryer, and a better vacuum. A loud family of six watching a late-night movie wasn’t conducive with the neighbors. They were quite sensitive and contacted the property managers regarding our noise level. Other than that, we stilled enjoyed our stay. It was clean and sufficient for our needs.

This home was a great place for our family to stay. Really close to Universal Studios and the Hollywood sign. We had fun using the entertainment room and pool/hot. The dining room was the perfect size for our group. The home was a little outdated, but had all the amenities we needed.

Great place. Kitchen lacks some needs like a large frying pan. The projector and game room is awesome. Hot tub was great. The place is a little more outdated than the pictures show, but it adds to the charm of a older Hollywood house. Its a great place to stay while visiting Universal. Only complaint was no book on how to operate stuff like the hot tub, or projector. Luckily, the staff that runs the place is very attentive and answers all your questions through VRBO. Loved the stay

Location:The location is quiet and very convenient—close to the Hollywood Sign and Universal Studios, which made getting around easy.Listing Accuracy:The listing states that the home sleeps 12, but it more accurately accommodates 10 people in beds. Additional foldable mattresses are provided and are better suited for younger children.House Condition:This is an older home, so guests should expect the charm—and quirks—that come with that. There is a noticeable “old house” smell, and some areas could use a bit of TLC. That said, the outdoor space is lovely and was a highlight of our stay. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi and outdoor seating area.Customer Support:Customer support was very responsive and attentive. We experienced a plumbing issue, and it was addressed and resolved very quickly.Guest Amenities:For a group of 12, only five towels were provided on the first day. On the second day, we were asked to accept a towel delivery ourselves. Unfortunately, the towels arrived late, so we had to share towels and wash and dry them in between uses.
